Textile/Print Collaboration, Fall 2022
Louise Eastman and Janis Stemmermann are long-time collaborators creating artworks and editions involving textiles and printmaking. For New York Textile Month, they worked together at the Russell Janis studio bringing together key elements present in each of their work by printing linoleum blocks onto assembled and patchwork textiles. A work in progress, this current collaboration focuses on combining Twister game imagery currently used in Louise’s work and a flower motif with center circle used in Janis’ work.
