The Pulled in Brooklyn exhibition at the International Print Center will be the first in-depth exploration of the vibrant network of artists, printmakers and workshops that has developed since the 1990’s in Brooklyn. We are pleased to announce the following prints from our archive and current Russell Janis projects will be included in this exhibition:

20×15 Portfolio edition, 1997 with works by Matthew Abbott, Nicole Eisenman, Ava Gerber, Sean Mellyn and Jonathan Seliger published by Maureen Mahony and Janis Stemmermann, printed by Janis Stemmermann.

In The Steps of Folly Cove/Artist Print Invitational Fundraiser Portfolio, 2017 featuring the works of Jonathan Fabricant, Elise Ferguson, Joe Peppe, and Mylene Pionilla.

Kathleen Kucka

April 8 – 12, 2019

Artist Kathleen Kucka made her print debut at the Russell Janis studio in 2017 creating her Vital Force aquatint series with burn marks. In April, Kathleen will be here working on wood block monotypes. Stay tuned!
