Winter Light Installation Series

December 2019 - March 2020

Starting with the Winter Solstice, when the days are short and the nights are long, we are hosting a Winter Light installation series. The work of each participating artist will be adapted to the site and installed in the space at Russell Janis. The series is to be viewed from the sidewalk as the dark winter nights frame the window. The artists are as follows. Stay tuned!

Janis Stemmermann - December 2019

Janis Stemmermann is engaged in a career making sculpture, prints and textiles. This installation goes back to early works and highlights the beginning of influences and interactive components more fully realized in her current work.
