A continuation of our Blue Journey post from October 2013. This summer, we are delving into the history and chemistry of the color Indigo. Starting by planting seeds and experimenting with creating a successful indigo vat, a centuries old process to explore beloved blue: calm, regal and common. More to come on dyeing, printing and painting with Indigo for upcoming fall projects.
