With each piece made, small or large there is always discovery, learning or excitement pushing its maker forward. One of my favorite books is Bird by Bird (Some Instructions on Writing and Life) by Anne Lamott. In it, she quotes E.L. Doctorow, “Writing a novel is like driving a car at night. You can only see as far as the headlights, but you can make the whole trip that way.”
Whether you apply this advice to writing, art or life, it describes the creative journey well. Please take a look at our new Exhibits page featuring artists and their work from past posts and our recent Habitation show. Each work, something worth having.
